Wooden Maraca
Best suited for babies over 8 months and only to be used with parental supervision. Although the paint is non-toxic and completely safe for babies, if bitten by little teeth the paint may peel, scratch or become damaged. These are NOT a teether and are NOT to be bitten or used for teething. Always check toy before use.
Musical games help babies and toddlers learn and grow in many key developmental areas, including fine motor skills, language, literacy, mathematics, self-expression and communication. In fact, according to neuroscientists, no other activity lights up more areas of the brain! Musical activities can be started from when babies are still in the womb (yep, that's right!).
Sample Activity
Age: 9 months + (or once sitting confidently)
Benefit: Fine Motor Skills & Self-Expression
Activity: Gather a range of baby safe musical instruments and other sound-making objects from around your home (think rattles, pots and pans, metal spoons). Sit your baby on a play mat and place the objects in a circle around them. Let your baby explore each object and its unique sound. Extension: you may like to talk about each sound, for example "these maracas sound like rain falling... pitter, patter, pitter, patter..."

We offer weight based shipping to all Australian addresses:

- Orders $150 AUD or over: FREE standard shipping
- Orders under $150 AUD: Weight-based shipping, calculated at checkout
- EXPRESS POST:
- $21.00 small parcel - up to 1.5 kg
- $35.00 large parcel - over 1.5 kg
All items are shipped by Sendle OR Australia Post.
Your order could take up to 10 business days to arrive, depending on destination. Parcels going to metropolitan addresses are often delivered within 4 days of dispatch. We will notify you when your order has been dispatched.
International Shipping
We offer international weight-based shipping to most countries outside of Australia. Shipping calculated at checkout.
All items are shipped by Sendle OR Australia Post.
International delivery timeframe: allow up to 35 business days from when your order is shipped. We will notify when your order is dispatched.
*PLEASE NOTE we have found that due to Covid 19 there have been significant delays for international shipping beyond our control.
